[Colloquium Munich] Anton Fedyashin (Washington, D.C.): "Conservatism and Geopolitics: Russia's Role in a 'Post-Western' World"

Anton Fedyashin, Ph.D. (Washington, D.C.), Associate Professor at the American University and currently Visiting Research Fellow at the Graduate School for East and Southeast European Studies, is guest speaker in the Colloquium of the Graduate School in Munich on June 14, 2017. He gives a lecture on "Conservatism and Geopolitics: Russia's Role in a 'Post-Western' World".

Anton Fedyashin's main fields of research interests are Russian and European history with focus on the Russian Empire. In 2012 he published a monograph entitled "Liberals under Autocracy. Modernization and Civil Society in Russia, 1866-1904". Anton Fedyashin is Professor and Director of the Carmel Institute of Russian Culture and History at the American University in Washington, D.C.

All members of the Graduate School and all members of the Universities in Munich and Regensburg are warmly invited to participate.
