[Colloquium Munich] Yuri Slezkine (Berkeley): "The House of Government: A Saga of the Russian Revolution"

On 17 January 2018, the Graduate School for East and Southeast European Studies welcomes the renowned historian Prof. Yuri Slezkine, Ph.D. (Berkeley) in its lecture series Colloquium in Munich. Slezkine will give a talk at LMU Munich from 12 noon to 2 p.m. on "The House of Government: A Saga of the Russian Revolution" sprechen. The talk is also part of the event series "Berkeley Lecture" offered by the Center for Advanced Studies at LMU München.

Yuri Slezkine is Jane K. Sather Professor of History at the University of California Berkeley and Director of the Berkeley Program in Eurasian and East European Studies at the Institute of Slavic, East European, and Eurasian Studies (ISEEES). Within the joint programme "LMU-UCB Research in the Humanities" he will be Visiting Professor at LMU Munich in spring  2018.

In his lecture on 17 January Slezkine will explore thoughts of his study recently published with Princeton University Press.
