[Colloquium Regensburg] Alexander Semyonov (St. Petersburg): "New Approaches to the History of the Russian Empire and the Soviet Union: Politics of Diversity and Imperial Transformations"

The Graduate School for East and Southeast European Studies welcomes Prof. Alexander Semyonov, Ph.D. (St. Petersburg) for a lecture in its "Colloquium" on July 14, 2016 in Regensburg. His lecture is entitled "New Approaches to the History of the Russian Empire and the Soviet Union: Politics of Diversity and Imperial Transformations".

Alexander Semyonov is Professor at the National Research University Higher School of Economics in St. Petersburg, Russia. In July 2016 he is Visiting Fellow of the Graduate School for East and Southeast European Studies in Regensburg. His professional interests are the history of Russian Empire, imperialism, nationalism and intellectual history.

All members of the Graduate School and all members of the Universities in Munich and Regensburg are warmly invited to participate.
