Elena Aronova is a historian of science and Research Scholar at Max-Planck-Institut für Wissenschaftsgeschichte Berlin since 2012.

She wrote her doctoral thesis on “Studies of Science Before “Science Studies”: The Cold War and the Politics of Science in the U.S., U.K., and U.S.S.R., 1950s-1970s” at the University of California, San Diego. Her new project, called “Big Science in the Archive”, explores the history of “World Data Centers” in the US and the Soviet Union.
