Andreas Kappeler (Vienna): "Die Großrussen und die Kleinrussen. Historische Grundlagen des russisch-ukrainischen Konflikts" (the lecture will be given in German)

Lasting for more than one year now, the Russian-Ukrainian War threw Europe out of balance. This lecture points out historical foundations which may contribute to understanding the current developments. Key words: Russia's Imperial legacy; assymetric relations; the shadow Russia has been casting on Ukraine for more than two centuries.
