How is being dealt with the the past 20 years after the Srebrenica massacre and the Dayton peace treaty? How victims and perpetrators are being treated? This lecture, given by Graduate School members Jacqueline Nießer and Ger Duijzings (Regensburg), deals with the judicial treatment, especially at the International Criminal Court in The Hague. Introducing the civil society network REKOM which seeks to give victims a voice by establishing truth commissions, there will be shed light on the ongoing societal process of dealing with war crimes, too.
