Forum Lecture Munich: Marie-Janine Calic: Bosnia and Herzegovina - The Burden of The Past and The Hope for Future. [In German]

15.06.2015 (18:15 - 20:30)

11 July marks the 20th anniversary of the Srebrenica massacre, which was the cruel climax of the Bosnian War. Where does Bosnia and Herzegovina stand twenty years after the war, which put an end to multi-ethnic and multi-religious coexistence? What does the peace process look like and which role does Europe play in it? After looking back at what happened in the 1990s Marie-Janine Calic takes stock: What perspectives does Bosnia and Herzegovina have?

Venue: Gasteig, Rosenheimer Str. 5, Munich, Lecture Room of the Municipal Library; Time: 6.15 p.m. - 20.30 p.m.

This lecture is part of the series "Bosnien-Herzegowina. 20 Jahre nach Srebrenica und Dayton", being organised by the Graduate School for East and Southeast European Studies and the Münchner Volkshochschule.
