Curriculum Vitae

Born in Ankara. PhD on fashion and press graphics of the Weimar Republic and the Berlin fashion designer Lieselotte Friedlaender. Habilitation at the University of Hamburg on “Kulturtransfer und nationale Identität. Deutschsprachige Architekten, Stadtplaner und Bildhauer in der Türkei nach 1927“ [= Cultural Transfer and National Identity. German-speaking Architects, City Planers and Sculptors in Turkey after 1927]. Since 2009 professor of Art History at LMU Munich. Burcu Dogramaci also works as an art critic for various medias.
