Curriculum Vitae

Born in Morrinsville (New Zealand). Since 2006 Professor of Theater Studies at Ludwig-Maximilians-University-Munich (LMU). Received his PhD from the University of Otago in New Zealand, in 1993 and habilitated in Theater Studies at LMU. From 1994 to 1998 professor of Theater Studies at LMU and from 1998 to 2004 Chair of Theater Studies at Johannes Gutenberg-Universität Mainz.
