Curriculum Vitae

Born 1970 in Kirchdorf a.d. Krems (Austria). 1999 PhD in history awarded by the University of Graz (Austria). 2006 Habilitation (History of Eastern and Southeastern Europe, Modern History) awarded by the Free University of Berlin. Since 2008 Professor of Southeast and East European History at the University of Regensburg and managing director of the Südost-Institut, Regensburg (since 2012 Institute for East and Southeast European Studies).
