Religious Cultures in 19th and 20th-Century Europe

The International Research Training Group “Religious cultures in 19th and 20th-century Europe” forms a further study group.

The IRTG „Religious Cultures in 19th and 20th-century Europe“, a joint project of Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität Munich, Charles Unversity Prague and Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań, makes a contribution towards analyzing the relationship between religion and modernity in Europe since 1800. The analysis of the complex dynamics between religious cultures and (post-)secular social and political systems constitutes the main focus of the Training Groupʼs research agenda.
