Alumni Association AMUROst

An interest in Eastern Europe studies and personal experiences as master or doctoral students and their following career in or outside academia connects the alumni of the Elite Graduate Program for East European Studies and of the Graduate School for East and Southeast European Studies. Whether they are still associated with the university or graduated many years ago, they can still profit from and contribute to this community.

Alumni of both programs founded the alumni association AMUROst e.V. in order to make it easier for participants to stay in touch, overall strengthening the communication between the alumni as well as encouraging contact between students and postgraduates.

The association, which is increasingly widening its network, considers itself a platform for vivid exchange, hosting interactive events, such as the annual "Alumni Day" where participants can share knowledge and personal experiences on career entry, career management and further education.
