Workshop Regensburg

Critical introduction into applied anthropologies

Andrey Vozyanov, Doktorand der Graduiertenschule Regensburg, lädt Sie herzlich zum Workshop mit dem Titel "Critical introduction into applied anthropologies" am 13.Juni um 14:00 Uhr ein. Die Veranstaltung findet in der Graduiertenschule, Landshuter Str. 4, Raum 017 statt.

Programm

The program of the workshop consists of three parts. Firstly, together with Andrey Vozyanov, a PhD-student of Graduate School East- and Southeast European Studies, we will present a short overview of applicability-oriented research formats and approaches within contemporary anthropology and sociology.

After this, Liubava Shatokhina will tell about various practices of problem oriented ethnographic research based on her working experience for both noncommercial and business sector. The key speaker, Liubava Shatokhina has a master degree in cultural anthropology with European University at St. Petersburg, Russia. Her MA thesis dealt with the topics of digital divide, user experience and everyday world of Russian pensioners. At the moment she works as a business consultant at Gemic, Finland, conducting ethnographic research for consumer industry (among clients are Valio, P&G, Audi etc.)

At the final part of the work shop participants will be given a problem oriented exercise and will get a feedback from presenters. Participants without background in social sciences and/or field research are equally welcome.
