On Wednesday, 8 May 2019, the Graduate School invites to the talk "And Now for Something Completely Different: Academic Publishing in English – Presentation of academic publisher 'Routledge'" with Robert Langham (London). The event is part of the lecture series "Forum".

Robert Langham is Senior Publisher for History at the renowned British publishing house Routledge. Langham has been concentrating on the acquisition of research monographs covering European and World History. He joined Routledge in 1999 and for many years worked as the company’s Economics Editor.

Langham will introduce to particularities and challenges of academic publishing in English - which differs in several ways from the German tradition of academic publishing. After his talk Robert Langham will be answering questions from the audience. The event will be chaired by Professor Dr Ulf Brunnbauer.

The lecture is part of the Graduate School's lecture series "Forum" and is open to the interested public.
