Conflict Transformation in a Nutshell

In times of escalating violence and war, working on peace-building and conflict transformation is important more than ever. The workshop "Conflict transformation in a Nutshell" will offer participants a basic understanding of concepts including peace, violence, conflict and peace education. It will provide a better understanding of conflicts, starting from a personal level, but also reflect on different interpersonal and international conflicts that affect our daily lives. The aim of the workshop is to equip participants with tools of conflict analysis, such as the conflict tree method, and explore different approaches to conflict transformation (avoidance, competition, submission/accommodation, co-operation and compromise).
