The Graduate School's former postdoc and Principal Investigator PD Dr. Friederike Kind-Kovács, who currently works at the Hannah-Arendt Institute for Research on Totalitarism in Dresden, was presented with the award by mayor Gertrud Maltz-Schwarzfischer.
The prize was awarded for the third time since its inception in 2013. It honours an outstanding female researcher at one of the three universities in Regensburg. It is endowed with 15,000 €, making it the most valuable prize awarded by the City of Regensburg.
