Book with Poems by PhD candidate Slata Kozakova Published

A book with a collections of poems by Slata Kozakova, doctoral candidate of the Graduate School in Munich, has just been published with Reinecke & Voß publishers in Leipzig. Kosakova, who explores Dostoevsky’s "podpol'nyj čelovek" and the Crisis of Genders in Russian Literature of the Second Half of the 19th Century in her PhD thesis, has also been writing poems and other fiction; these are published under her maiden name Slata Roschal.

In 2018, Slata won both the audience and the jury prizes of the Literature Prize of Mecklenburg-Vorpommern competition and a Literature Prize for Young Talents of the Literaturstiftung Bayern.
