Graduate School welcomes historian Anton Fedyashin

The American historian, Anton Fedyashin is a fellow of the Graduate School in Munich for the summer semester 2017.

Anton Fedyashin is an associate professor of Russian and European History at the American University in Washington. He received his PhD upon completion of his dissertation “Liberals under Autocracy: Modernization and Civil Society in Russia, 1866 – 1904.” Fedyashin is currently working on a project on spy technology “Superpower Subconscious: The Cold War and the Spy Novel” and a biography of Tsar Alexander III. He also researches on the topic of conservative thinking in post-Soviet Russia.
